		<description>Dear Pratish.....

Was just browsing thru and chanced on this spirited text you have poured your heart into....

It really pleases me to say the least.... there exists a concerned set of citizens who don the mantke, who make the call and Most Importantly...put in a beginning

Having said that...allow me to share my point of view as well. I stand at a unique apex of a strange pyramid which has the fangs but is forbidden to sting - has the heart to put the skill in to motion and action but is tied by the Rules of Engagement - has the will to do the last mile in persuit but does&#039;nt have the legacy of a logistical chain which could support me ( read my kinds !!)

On Fifth have been invited at the launch function of Regional Centre of NSG here at Hyderabad...It really warms my heart, atleast we shall not have to wait that long and allow some gun trotters to run amock with the economic centre of our country...

Having said that the point which I want to make is that at every step there exist a very reasonable line of defence ...errr.... may be line of deterence is a better phrase. These successivelines of defence run thru the local home guards to the ordinary police to the Quick reaction Team of the local police to the armed constabulary to the Grey Hounds and so on...Believe you me - my recent experiences tell me that these lot of people are also very committed

Two days back , I was rescuing some five shepherd folks in Warrangal Distt from the wrath of swollen Godavari. Having domne the job...we were waiting for the fuel bowser and I got talking to the local inspector from the AP Special Police. Trained at Manesar NSG set up, this FAT inspector was visibly a horrifying sight but when I got talking to him - the old adage came true - appearances are deceptive. There wer quotes of How to wrest the initiative from the Naxalites and why the Grey Hound suffered casualities in Orrisa last year ( boat encounter for 67 grey hounds submerged in the watery grave) and How the terrain is to be utilised to own advantage....prestine, pure, professional stuff from the mouth of an unassuming Police Inspector....

The point is my belief that there exists several Delay Lines, Deterrence Lines and so on who could contain the wrath ............. But it is these Politicians who hold us back, who have little or no understanding ..... who do Not want to solve the problem ...For If the problem is solved then who is going to be asking for these very politicians...They want to keep the Tiger tied in front of the house and they want to keep threatening the house hold ...Look only I can save you from the Tiger&#039;s wrath ...so listen to me....worship me...feed my greed and so on .

May be I am off the mark , but then I thought must salute the spirirt brother and also to make a subtle point that the malaise of Political Interference is adversly affecting each of the Lines of Defences !!!

More later ...
