In Search. Of the Eternal. And the Absolute.

Random thoughts

1. It's great to be gymming again. I am being fairly regular for now. I do anticipate a break sometime in October, but that can't be helped

2. James Blunt's 'All The Lost Souls' is not a patch on his previous album. Sorry James, but you're gonna have to kinda live up to the expectations of Back To Bedlam. While your androgynous voice is not totally unpleasant, I wish the songs had been executed better... it really doesn't sound like you've grown much as an artiste

3. Dhamaal - awesome movie but you may want to leave your brains aside before entering the halls. Guaranteed to make you laugh crazily, so in case you have been doing a lot of abs on the previous day like my friend T, you might as well avoid the movie to prevent infliction of pain on yourself

4. The Bourne Ultimatum is a terrific watch too. But then, I may be repeating myself. The movie's everything you expect from Bourne - slick chases, lotsa hand to hand combat, one-upmanship and what not... I recently read an article about the tussle between the two JBs - James Bond & Jason Bourne.. quite an interesting read that. Don't have the patience to google for it though :P

5. Chak Dita India! That was one helluva humdinger, with both teams on the wire till the last ball literally. Like Shastri said, great cricket from everyone and India managed to win coz it held its nerve better. While it's too early to comment on Dhoni's captaincy, it's refreshing to hear his post-match talk - for the pure simplicity and honesty of it. He does have his 'I think the boys did well' speech, but the rest of it is just so straight-from-the-heart... Way to go boys!

For those who have no clue what I am talking about, see this.

6. I totally hate the new TATA Indicom ad that has the girls saying Waaaow, Haaow and whatever.... Stop it please, NAAAOWW!!

That's all for now.

For those of you who love the soundtrack (Hello little boys, little toys) in the new Razr2 commercial - here's a link to the song.

the cricket humdrum has seeped all the way to the praries..i can only imagine what it must be like over there.
i'd never have the patience to listen to a whole album by james blunt - listening to his -what you aptly call androgynous voice - saying 'youre beautiful' is enough to scare me away.
